In support of Bulacan Agricultural State College’s (BASC) Research, Development, and Extension (RDE) Agenda for 2020-2025, the Institute of Management launched a research and extension colloquium for faculty members with the theme, “Research and Extension Colloquium: Institute of Management Faculty and Capacity Enhancement” held at BASC Farmers’ Training Center on April 12, 2022.
The main thrust of the conference was for the IM faculty to produce and present research and/or extension proposals which will then be submitted to the Technical Working Group (TWG) of BASC. Gracing the event were Dr. Rodrigo G. Buenaventura, Dean of the Institute of Management, and the three panel of evaluators namely: Dr. Imee D. Esuerra (Director of Extension and Training), Dr. Billy Joe V. Villena (Director of Auxiliary Services), Professor Dinah Marie C. Dayag, and Professor Leah V. Indon.
With a total of nine (9) presenters, the colloquium served as a venue for all the participants capacitating them with a refined piece of scholarly proposals and improving their public speaking exposure.
