The Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) and ATI Central Luzon forged a Memorandum of Agreement on the “Mentoring and Coaching Youth through Agriculture Internship Program” in March 14, 2022. The internship program aims to apply the theories, concept, principles and ideals gained in school to a real-life work place environment. This will help in exploring the relationship between the knowledge and skills acquired in school set-up and experience in a real working situations. This enables the interns to understand and respond better to the needs of the sector.
Further, the collaboration is part of the ATI’s strategy to support the One DA Reform Agenda, particularly in professionalization of youth by engaging and developing their skills and building the capacity as one of the key players in the agriculture sector.
